      京都大學(xué)教授井上治久率領(lǐng)的研究小組,利用ips細(xì)胞制作出可變化為神經(jīng)膠質(zhì)細(xì)胞的前驅(qū)細(xì)胞,然后向24只患有漸凍癥的實驗鼠脊髓各移植了約8萬個這種細(xì)胞。
      結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn),移植了前驅(qū)細(xì)胞的24只漸凍癥實驗鼠的平均生存期為162天,而沒有移植的24只實驗鼠僅為150天。研究小組說,移植的前驅(qū)細(xì)胞幾乎全部變?yōu)樯窠?jīng)膠質(zhì)細(xì)胞之一的星形膠質(zhì)細(xì)胞,開始產(chǎn)生維持神經(jīng)細(xì)胞所需的蛋白質(zhì),而且這些移植的細(xì)胞沒有發(fā)生癌變。
      研究小組還說,實驗鼠的10天相當(dāng)于人類的數(shù)個月到半年時間,不過單純換算為天數(shù)比較困難。他們準(zhǔn)備今后將這種前驅(qū)細(xì)胞與利用iPS細(xì)胞制作的運動神經(jīng)細(xì)胞一起移植,以調(diào)查會取得什么樣的效果。

      RTKs regulate development through photoactivation dimerization as the first instance of photoreactive dimerization of mammalian receptors.       The results showed that the average survival time of 24 mice with asherogenic syndrome transplanted with precursor cells was 162 days compared to only 150 days with 24 mice without transplantation.       The team also said that 10 days of experimental mice is equivalent to a few months to six months of human life, but simple conversion to days is more difficult. In the future, they plan to transplant such precursor cells together with motor nerve cells made from iPS cells to investigate what effect they can achieve.
      Researchers at the University of Bristol, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Mayo Clinic have found that a mutation in a gene impairs the ability of normal transporters within the cell.
      The lack of these proteins may be part of the reason why the body loses nerve cells responsible for the chemical dopamine production.
      Known VPS35 gene mutation and Parkinson's disease, but until now, experts have been unable to identify the mechanism of action.
      The study, published in Current Biology, June 26, 2014, shows that VPS35 mutations impair the ability of cells to transport a subset of cargo proteins to the correct destination.
